Ouidad Education is a specialized professional training and certification program for hairstylists focused on cutting, styling, and caring for wavy, curly, and coily hair
My role: UI and visual design. I make sure the design and layout are clean, easy to navigate, and still keep the "educational" aesthetic.
Before handing all the assets to the developer, I create a prototype in Figma and show to the team. After the design approved, I sent all the assets to the developer and work closely to make sure the site is working smoothly and functions properly.
The Problem: an older web layout made it difficult to elegantly display and organize educational resources across the four distinct, intricate curl categories.
The solution is Redesign with clean, modern page layout architecture. The redesign integrated specialized photography, illustrated shot lists, and on-set video direction targeted across all four curl types.
